In recent years, due to rising global energy crisis, many countries pay extraordinaryattention to energy saving technology. The car as one of the most important tools in humanlife, the consumption of energy is very alarming, therefore, as a kind of energy conservationand environmental protection high-tech products, the development of electric vehicles hasattracted more and more attention.The dynamic performance of electric vehicles includes maximum speed, maximumgradability and acceleration performance. For electric vehicles, power battery is the onlyenergy source of the electric vehicle, once charge capacity is very limited, and charging timeis very long. The dynamic performance of the vehicles, subject to the technology of batteryhad not a revolutionary breakthrough. In this paper, the main research is power batterydischarge characteristics, which based on a large number of experimental data, and on thisbasis, simulating the dynamic performance of electric vehicles.The main contents of this study includes the following aspects:(1)Design a variety of basic parameters of electric vehicles in the relevant technicalstandards and safety regulations, and matching suitable drive motor according to the vehicletransmission efficiency and vehicle dynamic performance, and calculating the requirements ofeach indicator of power battery according to the law of conservation of energy.(2)The part of battery experimental mainly describes the main process and method ofthe battery charge and discharge test. In order to completion the test efficiently, and obtainvalid data, use orthogonal test to design test solution. Then analysis the test data available andextraction of available date, curve of battery discharge rule.(3)Establish the model of power battery on the base of test date, simulation the modeland analysis, to verify the model accuracy.(4)Set up vehicle model under AVL CRUISE platform, and Input all the parameters.Simulation the vehicle dynamic performance, output the results of simulation, and thenanalyze the results, come to the conclusion.Through the simulation analysis of the power battery model and vehicle dynamicperformance,The vehicle dynamic performance indexes reach the expected results,and thetest battery discharge capacity can be determined to provide electric vehicle enough poweroutput under various conditions.
