With the continuous improvement of power quality requirements, reactive powercompensation device of conventional exist many problems such as: low operating voltage,slow response speed, compensation capacity is small, This makes the promotion and use ofidle compensation device of the traditional large range is limited, economic benefits andsocial benefits significantly, has been unable to meet contemporary people’s production andlife, development of new reactive power compensation device imminent, still this designstatic var generator device effectively solves these problems.First of all, established a mathematical model according to the principle of equivalent.use of the simulink module in matlab simulation model is established to determine thespecific, H bridge cascaded mode based on topological structure as the. Using the abovemethod to a large extent of harmonic generation the hardware circuit using cascaded powerunit, through the reactor access to the electric network, and solve the problem that insulatedgate transistor (IGBT) can not withstand high voltage. Design the control circuit based onDSP chip TMS320F28335, and the design of current, voltage detection circuit, protectioncircuit, drive circuit, AC current, the zero voltage circuit; adopts the modularized idea andusing CCS3.3integrated development environment for the preparation DSP software, toachieve precise control of the system.Secondly, have a test of software and hardware to this static var generator (SVG), as wellas have a experiment to the build system and analysis of the experimental results, theexperimental results show that the static var generator (SVG) in line with national standardsand industry requirements, this system can actualized dynamic reactive power compensationfastly to electrical net.
