| Apart from the ecological functions, urban constructed wetlands are added extra functions of recreation and ecological education. Though the importance of wetlands have been realized by more and more people, the situation is not optimistic about the use of wetlands at home, the quantity of post occupancy evaluation in constructed wetland park is really limited, and there is a lack of knowledge about the value and functions of wetlands among people. Thus, it is of great importance to undertake post occupancy evaluation in domestic urban constructed wetland park.This paper based on the POE theory, investigated the constructed wetland in the Southern Part of Beijing Olympic Forest Park (BOFP), using methods such as behavior observation, questionnaires, interview survey, statistical analysis, etc. Questionnaires were used to research people’s behavior around their gender, age, occupation, intention and so on. Research received a total number of316valid questionnaires. According to the final data and interviews with staff, this wetland park has advantages like good environment, high accessibility, eco-friendly materials, sense of security. However, facilities include direct drinking water, seat, sunshade and rainproof devices can’t meet people’s demand, neither is the night lighting, the park also fails to take into account the disabled, children and the elderly and others who have special needs, in addition, wetland education and publicity needs to be strengthened. According to the above questions, paper puts forward some suggestions, diversifying education forms and perfecting facilities, paying attention to special groups’requirement and visitors’ feedback. Through the study on this constructed wetland park, the users’feedback can be responded effectively, this research hopes to provide references for the further improvement of this park, and hope that the conclusion and experiences can provide references for future cases. |
