ABSTRACT:Axle box bearing is the essential Mechanical part of the traction drive system in High speed train and the key technology of it is concentrated on the reliability design and experiment evaluating method of the bearing. All of the research need the support by the experimental platform of the traction drive system. Although there is not any experimental platform in china that can systematically simulate the total traction drive system and also lacking of research work about the reliability experiment and evaluating method of the axle box bearing. In order to guide the design work of the experimental platform more rationally and ensure the dependability of the experiment, it must be based on the deep research on the contact mechanics and reliability evaluating method of the bearing.This article combine the analysis of the theoretical model and collected field data of the experiment, simulation by FEM to research the mechanics model and reliability experimental method systematically. The main work includes:(1)Construct the mechanics model of the axle box roller bearing of SKF series, analyze the dynamic and contact characteristics of bearing by ABAQUS.(2)Collect the acceleration data of the axle box of CRH-3running on Wu-Guang line and build the vehicle body-rail dynamic model. Integrate the acceleration data and impute the displacement result into the dynamics model as the excitation in order to get the calculated result of vertical load of the bearing. Give out the derivation of the computing method of jib-effective load of the bearing.(3) Construct the mechanics model of the axle box tapered roller bearing of FAG series, take use of the equivalent column method, slice method and FEM to solve the distribution result of the contact pressure of the bearing.(4)Research in the evaluating method of the contact fatigue life of the bearing, design the reliability experiment of the axle box bearing.
