With the social market economy system deepening development and military equipment gradual innovation, there are still many problems in military production, which is bound to affect the quality of military products. Pros and cons of military product quality relate to the war outcome and national safety problems.The drilling machine used for grenade fuse room is the key equipment. It is applied in the final craft process of automated production line, which device deriving from the improving and developing of the previous manual scraping drilling machine. Its normal working plays a vital role to the entire compress dynamite production process. Transforming this device can improve the overall rate of qualified products, and avoids the waste of reproduction.Investigate the status of product quality, and find out the main problem of quality initially. From man, machine, material, method, ring, measuring six major factors analyzing, find out the cause of the problem affecting the quality. Establish the Pareto chart and histogram based on the Pareto principle. Appling this principle in quality improvement project, that means minority projects often play a major and decisive impact. By distinguishing between the most important and other minor items, can get the most improve with the least effort.The main quantity problem that processes to appear have:The detonator room and bullets are together the stalk degree is bad; The depth of the detonator room is unqualified; The smooth degree of the detonator room wall is not enough; The detonator room medicine wall is incomplete; The detonator room diameter be partial to big or be partial to small.According to above defects, propose the main solution methods as follow:redesign the locate system to improve the concentricity; change clamping system to ensure that replacement tooling can quickly adapt production and improve the equipment adjustable. Redesign program to reduce the possibility of misuse, and adapt to the craft requirements after the device changed.After redesign the device,its accuracy and reliability are compliance. Tracking and sampling the products produced by the redesigned device found that the quality of its products has been greatly enhanced.
