Urban water resources are the basic guarantee of urban development andenvironmental improvement. The construction of urban ecological water system notonly provides water sources for the city, but also plays the role of maintaining theecological balance, beautifying the environment and controling flood and draining, andit plays the vital role to promote the construction of ecological civilization city. Thispaper does research on the prediction of the new urban eco-environmental waterdemand and surveys of regional water, based on the regional environmental status andwater system planning, using the ecological water of Qingdao national high-techindustrial development zone as the research issue.In the progress of the study, this paper introduces the regional environment (thegeographic conditions, geology and landforms, climatic conditions, rainfall, riversystem, hydrological geology and tide) of the high-tech zone first, providing the basicdata for the prediction of ecological water demand. Then, it studies the calculationmethods of ecological water demand, and selects the lakes (Throughput Lake)calculation method of ecological water demand to calculate the surface evaporation,rainfall, leakage, purifying and circulating of ecological water in high-tech zone, andobtains the corresponding eco-environmental water demand of the high-tech zone basedon the predicting of the different guarantee rate (50%,75%,90%) and the average yearsof high-tech zone eco-environmental water requirement using the above data. Finally, itinvestigates and analys the water quantity and quality of surface water resources(Daguriver, Taoyuan river, Moshui river, Hongjiang river, Yangmao ditch and regionalrainwater), groundwater resources and renewable water resources(reclaimed water ofShangma and export processing zone sewage treatment plant), and puts forwardreasonable and practical research direction of ecological water replenishment way bycombining with the analysis of ecological water requirement in high-tech zone, that is,giving priority to the rational utilization of regional rainwater runoff scheme, secondlychoosing the most optimal replenishment program by comparing to other watersources(external water resources and reclaimed water resources), then raises thereasonable and feasible water quality maintenance measures.
