Structural stress topology optimization and its digital manufacturing have extensiveapplication prospects in the aviation, aerospace and other high-tech fields. Based on theexisting topology optimization research, this paper proposes that level set method isemployed to study the structural stress topology optimization problems. The topologyoptimization models of compliance minimization structure with stress constraint anduniform stress structure with stress objective function are set up, respectively. Next, theaugmented dual Lagrangian multipliers method and material derivative are used toderive the sensitivity formulations of optimization models. After that, MATLAB is usedto develop the corresponding optimization programs. Later on, the Delaunaytriangulation is proposed to sort quickly the boundary data after completing thestructural stress topology optimization design. Finally, the further research is deeplymade on the digital manufacturing of optimization result. The main work andinnovations of this paper are as follows:(1) The level set method is employed to complete topology optimization of structuralstress. By adding stress constraint to the traditional optimization model of complianceminimization, the topology optimization model of compliance minimization structurewith stress constraint is obtained, and the strength requirements of optimal designresults are satisfied. On the basis of this, the topology optimization model of uniformstress structure with stress objective function is presented, which can alleviate thestructural stress concentration problem.(2) Augmented Lagrangian multipliers method and slack variable method areexplored to solve optimization problem with inequality constraints. By combiningaugmented Lagrangian functional and material derivative, the sensitivity formulationsof augmented Lagrangian functional are derived. The sensitivity is adopted as evolutionspeed of level set function to complete structural optimization.(3) On the basis of triangular facet method, the Delaunay triangulation is proposed tosort quickly the extracted boundary data. The Delaunay triangulation-based sort methodcan greatly improve the efficiency of digital design and manufacturing. (4) Based on the proposed digital manufacturing method, the sorted boundary data isprogrammed to automatically generate processing code. Then, NC-Viewer is used tosimulate and verify the process of digital manufacturing. Finally, the digitalmanufacturing of digital optimization design structure is achieved and the seamlessconnection between the digital optimization design and digital manufacturing is realizedin detail.
