When shooting guns,the gunpowder explosion at gunpoint makes the surrounding air instantaneous heating expansion and generate great shock and noise named impulse noise. Such noise decays quickly, and its peak value is very high. Some peak sound pressure can reach180dB or so, and seriously endanger the health of the shooter. In military combat and drills, during outdoor shooting we can install muffler at gunpoint. In this article, the design of a quieter exhaust device is for indoor fire experiment, to reduce the noise and smoke harm to the shooter.The system includes noise reducing part,automatic smoke exhausting part and SheJiKou position adjusting up and down part. The key technology in the design is the noise reducing part. The principle of impedance and resistance is adopted to design structure of quieter.And we verify the rationality of structure design through the calculation and simulation. In addition, this article also has carried on the analysis of system reliability.
