As our national economy is developing fast now, industrial and domestic electricity load increases every year, how to build the future power grid is a problem. Smart power grids is built on an integrated、 high-speed bidirectional communication network based on advanced sensing and measurement technology、 equipment technology、 control methods and technology applications of decision support systems, with reliable、 safe、 economical efficient and environmentally friendly features, which is the key of future power grid construction to meet the requirements of the times.Power consumption data acquisition system is an important part of smart power grids, in this thesis, the author does some research work based on acquisition system. The major job and contribution of this thesis are as follows:1. Study the national grid on power consumption data collection system released enterprise standard "QGDW373-2009", and invest on the market’s concentrator, combined with domestic and international smart grid technology trends, designed a concentrator to meet our power grid, which can support new smart meters with communication protocol, ethernet communication and SD card storage.2. Concentrator hardware design. Using of industrial grade embedded processor AT91SAM9G45as the core control chip, on-board128M Byte DDR2SDRAM memory,256M Byte Nand Flash storage space,4M Byte Dataflash data storage space, two RS485interface to communicate with the smart meter, an ethernet interface to communicate with the host computer, an RS232debug serial port, and with a battery of the RTC clock.3. Concentrator software design. Building AT91SAM9G45under the linux development environment, linux kernel using2.6.30, additions and deletions of database read and write functions, using of socket means of communication with the host computer and stable two-way communication through the RS485data bus receive smart meters to achieve read and set the RTC clock.The development of concentrator combines communication, automatic control, embedded technology, and many other electronic information technology, which makes efficient real-time smart grid electricity consumption information, making quick and easy remote scheduling management, while according to real-time data and historical data for comparison peak demand forecast to detect faulty equipment and fast processing, so that the entire power grid to run more energy efficient and stable.
