Because the staff who maintain power station monitoring system are limited among many large industrial users, the system is basically in a state of paralysis. At the same time, as the energy loss reduction and power quality management have been paid more attention to, the availability of power station monitoring system has become a bottleneck. Design and development of a set of small, maintenance-free and less configuration become a very important issue. The development of embedded systems provides a good foundation for this topic.This topic is carried out in this context. That designs a set of embedded power station monitoring platform by using the general hardware platform, integration of embedded data acquisition and control system, embedded relational database and embedded real-time database. The main work is as follows:1. The system design of the embedded monitoring platform. The embedded monitoring system is targeted for small power station, it is used for the power equipment monitoring and energy management that requires man-machine interface is simple, practical and easy to master. The user can monitor the real-time data and generate the electricity, time measurement, harmonic distortion rate and other operation analysis report. The main design elements include the overall architecture of the system, the system’s data flow analysis, run relational database design and system model.2. The design and development of real-time database system. The real-time database system is the core technology of the monitoring platform. It load automatically the data from relational databases according to the mode. The real-time database system uses B tree index and provide API through interface library. The intermediate complex communication is shield well through package of interface library and the caller only need to set the IP addresses of database.The method of access the remote real-time data server is same as local data.3. Design and implement a scenic10KV power station project by using the embedded power station monitoring platform.
