For a long time, research on Dynamics and vibration of vehicle and rail systemhas always been the core of the subject. Rail transit vibration inevitably influences safety,convenient, service life and People live around. Therefore, it is urgent for the research ondynamics and vibration of vehicle and rail system. Vehicle-track vertical couplingdynamics involved in vehicle engineering, railway engineering, vibration mechanics,numerical analysis method and computer simulation technology, and many otherdisciplines. This research which adopt the combination of theory and experiment researchmethods need works in theoretical models, numerical simulation and field test. Railvibration test is divided into two categories, line running test and laboratory test.Laboratory test has been widely valued because of line running test’s disadvantages ofLong test period, high cost, too many influence factors and influence on line running.This paper, combined with a number of topics in Shanghai, proposes anexperiment system of rail vertical vibration based on the running of urban railway vehicle.The experiment system is a1:10contraction scale system which only has one rail. Theexperiment system make up of experiment vehicle and rail system. Experiment whichmade up of walking mechanical, vibration mechanical and mass block vehicle simulatedcar running, vehicle static load and vehicle dynamic load caused by rail irregularities. Railsystem made up of Rail, sleeper, fasteners, ballast bed and test bench floor. The specificwork of this paper is as follows.⑴Urban rail vehicle-track vertical vibration related theory was introduced, thedynamic characteristics of vehicle and track was further researched. The characteristics ofwheel/rail forces were analyzed and simulation theory and methods of the vehicle-trackvertical coupling vibration was researched. The theory and methods of similar model testwere studied. All the works made a theory foundation for the establishment of experimental model and experimental system design.⑵Based on information provided by Shanghai metro company, the design ofvehicle-track vertical coupling vibration experiment system and selection of variouscomponents were completed.⑶The model of experiment system was set up and MATLAB was used forsimulation analysis.⑷The data collection of vertical displacement of rail and sleeper supportreaction was researched based on virtual instrument technology. LabVIEW software wasused for the design of the control panel and the daemon.⑸Urban rail vehicle dynamics experiment under full load condition was tookon the experiment system, the curve of vertical displacement of rail and sleeper supportreaction was achieved. The results were compared with the results of MATLABsimulation.On the basis of the smooth completion of the above works, this paper draws thefollowing conclusions: the results of simulation was very similar with the experimentresults, but there was a certain error between them, because the similarity relation of theRail vertical vibration experiment system can not fully satisfy dynamic requirements.However, the error is small, some qualitative and quantitative research on track system canmade with the Rail vertical vibration experiment system, which can meet the needs ofgeneral dynamics research on track system. This research on the experiment system oftrack vertical vibration based on the running of urban railway vehicle can reduce theexperiment cost and provide the reference for further study on the track vertical vibrationexperiment system.
