Compare with conventional bearings, floating ring bearing have a certain special.Between the bearing and the journal has a floating cover, when the journal or bearing switch,it can rotate under the action of friction. Each friction relative sliding velocity are less than theoriginal bearings, Because when the bearing rotational speed reaches a certain value, theoriginal radial sliding bearing friction will become into a floating cover which have internaland external friction, it makes the floating bearing with a small amount of friction loss, goodstability, long working hours, etc. Currently, under the different working conditions,especially in the field of nonlinear stability and balance which at high speed rotation,domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of research. However, the floating bearingfeatures on high-speed is a stumbling block relate to the development of restricting rotor. Thecurrent floating bearing lubrication properties need to be further research. Article in-depthstudy the impact of the structure parameters on floating bearing dynamic characteristics,eccentricity, stability and other characteristics of lubricating, which provides further study offloating bearing with a theoretical basis.This thesis is based on the floating ring bearing of the vehicle, analysis the affect of thefloating bearing structural parameters (mainly on the inner and outer radii ratio and clearanceratio)on the lubricating properties of the floating ring bearing, the main contents include:(1)Based on fluid dynamics and teratology lubrication theoretical knowledge to establishits basic equations which is floating bearing lubrication basic equation, the load torquebalance equation, the film thickness of the equation, the number of sommerfeld, and basis onit the floating bearing lubrication characteristics are analyzed.(2)Contrary to different structural parameters, article focus on the influence of the gapratio, inside and outside radius ratio on the lubricating properties of the rotor, Summarize thelaw of structural parameters effect on the floating bearing lubrication properties.(3)Respectively, based on hydrodynamic lubrication theory and finite element methoddynamic characteristics of floating bearing were studied, and the results of both studies data were compared and analyzed, prove that the finite element method is available in the study ofthe dynamic characteristics of floating bearing.(4)In accordance with the work condition, the kinetic equations of floating bearing arebuilt, and then derive the characteristic equation of the floating bearing system, and use thesolution of the characteristic equation to analyze the critical speed floating bearing system,while based R-H guidelines and relationship between the structural parameters andeccentricity to analyze floating bearing system’s stability.
