With the development of navigation and guidance technology, more and more navigationand guidance antennas are used in the aircraft. This results in the increasing demand for theairborne antenna control systems. Thus the research of airborne antenna control technologyhas been being a focus of domestic and overseas scholars. The key of the airborne antennacontrol technology is the control precision and the real-time requirement of control algorithm.This paper begins with the theory of navigation, antenna control strategy that usescoordinate conversion algorithm as its antenna control algorithm is presented by consideringChinese situation that satellites are used as transit point for navigation and guidance antennasof aircraft. On this basis, the angle between the antenna and the satellite is defined ascriterion of antenna control. To solve the difficult problem how to improve the controlprecision of antenna control system and the real-time performance of control algorithm,according to the theory of floating point data and its operation characteristics, a floating-pointarithmetic digital signal processor TMS320F28335is chosen as the CPU of system.The antenna control system developed in this paper works on the aircraft, combiningwith the complex and changeable environment where the controller works, the design projectof control system is recommended. In hardware design, each function module of systemcircuits is explained and hardware anti-jamming measures are put forward. In software design,every function module of software is introduced in detail. When the execution result ofalgorithm and program is taken into account, measures how to enhance the control precisionare proposed. Then fault tolerance mechanisms are adopted.Finally, reliability tests, ground simulation tests and the field test are carried out on thecontroller to verify its reliability. STK which is dedicated to aerospace field is used tosimulate and calculate the data. The results from experimental data analysis shows that thecontrol has the peculiarity of high precision, strong instantaneity and high reliability.
