At present, with the rapid development of China’s highway, the highway toll system comes into being. The electronic toll collection system of the highway is being internationally popular for electronic toll collection systems. The highway toll collection system allows the driver through the toll booths without stopping, and with the use of the Internet technology and the settlement bank for background processing, the cost is automatically deducted by the bank card. With this payment system, people spend less time and the capacity for charging channels has been greatly improved.ETC is the most advanced charging system in the world, which is one of the service function of the intelligent transportation system. When the vehicle is through the crossing, it can be automatically charged. ETC communication protocol supports a dedicated short range communication protocol (DSRC). It defines the communication process between the on-board device (OBU) and the roadside unit (RSU), and defines the physical parameters of the communication, the operation flow, and other formatting information interaction specification. Many developed countries such as the United States, Singapore have achieved some or all toll collection systems, our research and development of DSRC protocol standards are suitable for China’s national conditions.This paper describes the current development of domestic and foreign electronic highway toll system, and then makes a detailed analysis on the dedicated short-range communications technology (DSRC) Layer3protocols, which focuses on the data link layer; then makes a detailed analysis of the construction of the RFID tags, introduces the functional properties and internal structure of the microprocessor MSP430in depth and analyses the performance of the data transmission modes, such as the radio frequency chip A7105module, in which a brief introduction to the frequency-hopping technology solves the problem of interference occurring in real life and has important significance. While the various components of the interface and the power of the RF tag hardware systems are briefly summarized; Finally, make a brief introduction to RFID software system and some codes.
