LED as a new green light,was payed more and more attention by its characteristics ofenergy-saving, environmental protection, high controllability, etc.And it will replace traditionallighting devices to become the fourth generation light source. At present both in the commercialor civilian lighting, LED driver was shift occurred from the non-dimming to the dimmingdirection. Currently there are three main market dimming: SCR dimming,analog dimming anddigital dimming.Wireless dimming of drive technology promising prospect, which PWMdimming and DALI standards-based digital dimming gradually began to spread.However, tofurther expand the dimmable LED lighting market still faces many challenges, such ascompatibility with existing lighting systems and innovation of driver chip.This thesis describes the dimmable LED driver technology solutions, the status quo at homeand abroad as well as future trends.The key technical issues related to the design of the driver wasdetailed analyzed,such as selecting the tactics of dimming,achieving high power factor,theworking principle of single-stage PFC flyback converter and constant current buck converter,EMIfilter design,PCB layout considerations.On this basis, for the ordinary home lighting applications,can be designed a50W multi-level dimming LED lighting control system.LED driver usestwo-stage drive structure.Previous stage is AC/DC conversion and to achieve a constant voltagepower factor correction,using flyback topology,the next stage is DC/DC conversion using BUCKtopology as constant current source.The corresponding PWM signal to accept sub-point circuit isdesigned to driver and set up a dimming system of one to three.At the end,the sample of50W PWM dimmable LED driver was tested,while theperformance and the waveforms of key points were collected and analyzed.The test results showthat the LED driver has many advantages, such as high power factor more than0.9and efficiencymore than87%.Get the remote controler and driver jointed commissioning,achieving individuallyand as a whole dimming, sending and receiving data is stable and reliable,transmission distancehas achieved40m, meet the design requirements.
