With control technology advances and market demand continues to increase, in recent years,high-performance AC servo systems are increasingly being applied to all areas of production andlife, because of this, DC servos and stepping servos are gradually eliminated. The AC servosystems’ performance completely determines the performance of the entire control system, as thedirect controller of the servo motor. The servo controller which has an excellent performance canhave faster response and smaller error of adjustment, as well as higher control accuracy of speedand position, can greatly improve production efficiency and accuracy.This paper introduces the development of servo system first, and also introduces its basiccomponents, the notable features different form other speed control systems, and elaborat a highperformance control method: vector control, in this paper, every transform formula which is used inthis method is given. On the basis of the theory, this paper designs and simulas the entire servocontrol system, then provides the simulation results. After that, An entire system includes hardwareand software is made by detail debug, and finally get the experimental results. Specific work of thispaper include the following tips:(1) Learning the algorithm of vector control, familiar with the basic idea of the algorithm.Analysis and derivation of the algorithm on the basis of given CLARK transform, PARK transformand inverse PARK transform formulas, and introduce SVPWM Modulation method.(2) Simulats the vector control system in MATLAB/SIMULINK to validate the entirealgorithm theory, meanwhile tests the control performance of PMSM.(3) The hardware structure of experimental board uses IPM+DSP framework. Considering thesecurity problems, the whole board also have electrical isolation. IR2175chip is used as currentfeedback.(4) Design of the whole software programs, including the main program, the system interruptprogram and PWM interrupt program, also designs the different stages of debugging program, tocomplete the debugging step by step.(5) An upper monitor is designed by using VB software. It can exchange data with test boardreal-time through CAN bus.After laboratory tests, the servo drive’s current loop response time is1ms, the adjustment rangeof the speed loop goes form1rpm to3500rpm with an accuracy of1rpm. In the no-load conditions,the motor accelerated to1000rpm only needs30ms. So this servo system in paper can basicly meet the design requirements,...
