As is known to all, the dangers of earthquakes is huge.Great improvement has been made in the history of seismic hazard resistance, and structural vibration control theory put forward is provides a theoretical basis for how to improve the seismic performance of structures. Frame-core tube have become major lateral force structure units in high-rise building. Although the frame-core tube structures have been widely used in china earthquake region, the theoretical analysis and design methods of core-tube are few intensive studied. For introducing energy consumption support frame-core tube structure research is insufficient. Therefore, it is of important theoretical and practical significance to analysis of seismic response on buckling restrained braces reinforced concrete frame core-tube structures.Buckling Restrained Brace which can be easily installed, designed flexibly, economical and beautiful, has been widely used in seismic energy dissipation member. It is a better choice for the seismic design of new structural and seismic strengthening and renovation. On the basis of this reason, the frame-core tube structures have been studied in this article. The main contents are as follows:First of all, this article introduces the control methods and characteristics of energy shock absorption technology.On the basis of experiments and theoretical researchs of scholars at home or abroad, this paper expounds the support the development process and research status of buckling restrained brace.Secondly to detail interpretation of the composition and working principle of BRB,at the same time summarized calculation methods of supporting structure of BRB.Thirdly, a14-stroey concrete frame core-tube structure is studied, which was based on Ansys. Computer models of buckling restrained braces-reinforced concrete frame core-tube structures and not with BRB were set up, and seismic perfermances of the models were calculated by adopting nonlinear time history analysis,which through choose three seismic waves El-Centro waves, Taft waves and Tianjing waves. The results show that under the action of earthquake,the structure with BRB exerts certain control effect on the aspects of inter-story displacement angle and the maximum floor displacement, but also increase lateral stiffness and torsional performance. Under the severe earthquake action, BRB have a good effection on energy dissipation, at the same time, it can better improve the seismic performance and protect main structure to collapse.At last, according to the problems in the process of researchs and engineering applicatio-ns, put forward my own suggestions and comments.Buckling restrained braces reinforced concrete frame core-tube structure is the production of combining energy dissipation technology and frame-tubes structure. In today’s society pay more and more attention to structure under the condition of earthquake, it has a broader prospects with its good damping effection.
