As the related development of information technology science in the21st century, mankind has entered a new era. But it comes up with enormous development bottleneck and many problems still lie to be solved. The problem of energy shortage is one of the issues of human concern. Development and utilization of new energy sources will open up new development model that provides an effective guarantee. Since solar has outstanding advantages, especially crystalline silicon solar cell technology is quite mature with stable efficiency and the whole industry chain has taken shape. The large proportion of solar power cells has made it mainstream solar cells.However, the competition of crystalline silicon cell industry is fierce, while facing the "two out" embarrassing situation. And some companies lack core technology. In this regard, enterprises should not only focus on the PV production process optimization and innovation, but also reduce production costs in the premise of ensuring quality of the crystalline silicon cells.That will bring new growth to the enterprise. In order to meet quality requirements, reduce the loss of the bulk crystalline silicon solar cells on production line and timely adjust the production process, EL tests performing on cells will become one of the effective solutions. It helps the waste piece rate to a minimum.The first chapter introduces the related basic knowledge of solar cell, including the solar industry background, types of solar cells. And solar silicon cells highlighted with physical characterizations of the relevant equivalent circuit. The article also explains the base on the topic. The second chapter describes that the required technical equipments and the related raw materials of the entire production line of poly-silicon screen printing. The third chapter describes in details the principle role in the process every step of the screen printing technique, specific operating procedures and referred to the relevant parameters. The forth chapter describes that the principle of electroluminescence of testing crystalline silicon cells are introduced, and stresses on the use of testing analyzes EL common production practice typical defects and explaining defect causes of the judgment. The fifth chapter summarizes the entire article, and introduces electroluminescence method of application prospect and innovation.
