Lattice boom crawler crane lifting regard as directly determine the main loadbearing member, and its structure is increasingly to large, tall, gentle,multi-combination direction. Universal application of high strength steel to reduce theweight of the boom, improved lifting performance by the strength of the decision, butit also makes structural rigidity and stability issues have become increasinglyprominent. Large tonnage crawler crane lattice boom complex structure, size large,nonlinear deformation obviously, there are outstanding problems: on the one hand,and its structural strength, stiffness and stability analysis methods and processes morecomplex; the other hand, the results difficult through experimental verificationassessment, and then summed up the lack of relevant experience.In response to these problems, we mainly work in the following areas:First, for large tonnage crawler crane lattice boom arm length combinations ofdifferent structures working conditions, respectively, using linear and nonlinear finiteelement analysis method strength, stiffness and stability analysis, by comparing thecalculation results of the analysis and discussion of different analytical methods thescope of application;Second, the use of wireless strain measurement system and total station for largetonnage crawler crane for a comprehensive structural testing, completed testing of amodel of stress and deformation of multiple test conditions crawler crane for largetonnage crawler crane lattice boom design calculations provide reliable test data;Third, by comparing the simulation results and experimental test data furthervalidate the accuracy of nonlinear analysis method to truss bearing ultimate bearingcapacity of the state and the overall structure of the goal to improve the simulationaccuracy boom crawler cranes, help subsequent development of lattice boomproducts.
