As an important part of vehicle, braking system has a direct impactonvehicle running safety and parking reliability. Parking system ishelpfulto slowdown vehicle and kept it staying still when parking. Spinmightcause serious traffic accidence results from big braking distance oroutof direction stability. Only when vehicle has good and reliablebrakingperformance, its performance strength can be leveraged. Therefore, structural analysis and design calculation of car braking systemare animportant step of ensuring and improving car brakingperformanceļ¼ˇThisarticle focused on structural analysis and designcalculation of carbraking system, and carried out an analytical study ofcar brakingperformanceļ¼ˇThe research topic is based on traditional, solid andrespectableautomobile braking theory which is widely utilized by globalcarmanufacturer for design validation. Meanwhile, it selects themostreasonable and optimized scheme from a wide variety ofpossibilities.Basing on the research object of a minivan, this article focusesonoptimization of braking force distribution which is closed to ideal brakeperformance that will lead to better direction stability and higherbrakingefficiency. It firstly introduces the mathematical model about front, rear brakeforcedistribution and adjustment regulation of the automobile. Accordingto therequirements of braking regulations and standards, the optimizationgoal isdetermined by employing Load sensing proportional valve todistribute frontand rear wheel braking force and the constraint conditionshave beenformulated. And then it analyzes the impact of parameterselection of maincomponents on vehicle braking performance. Secondly,it reviews andoptimize the boost slope and hydraulic turning point of theLoad sensingproportional valve by using the using the mathematicalmodel, and obtainsthe ideal distribution of front and rear wheel brakingforce, thus theperformance of the braking system has been improved.Optimal braking systemdesign parameters with good braking stability andhigh braking efficientare obtained through theoretical calculation analysisand designoptimization. An optimization designing method is presented to get betterbrakingperformance under different working frequencies whichcorresponds with theconditions that the vehicle is fully loaded or empty. The mathematicalmodel improves the calculation efficiency. Finally, Anoptimizing designof a minivan is taken as an example and simulativecalculation is made asthe adhesion coefficient is in a range of common roads. The result showsthat the minvan braking system is well-matchedwith vehicle performance. The optimization result of braking force distribution between shaftisclosed to ideal status. The article research result will be applied toexisting vehicle brakingsystem performance optimization, which bringsforward a meaningfulreference for vehicle braking system in the future.Structure analysis andcalculation design of vehicle braking system arescientific basis as wellas a critically important process to ensure brakingperformance.
