Data recorder as an important part of the testing system can accurately complete recordaircraft from launch to fall to the ground all the parameters of the flight test. The groundtesting system of the data recorder which is described in this article is in order to simulationtest, achieve the recorder loop self-checking and fault location. It is based on the automatictest system, using the way of modular, standardization, generalization, miniaturization todesign the system, to ensuring the equipment performance great efficiency, stable and reliableand can implement comprehensive testing for data recorder.According to the design requirements, the paper proposes the scheme of the groundtesting system design, and presents the working principle of the system in the self-inspectionmode the testing mode in detail. In the aspect of hardware circuit, the system uses a piece ofFPGA as the main control unit, using of Ethernet interface which can rapidly and exactlyimplement the data transmission, to make information exchange between the ground testequipment and the PC. Through RS-422interface, the ground test equipment can send thedigital signal to the recorder, successfully simulating the actual test case. Using an LVDSinterface, the system realize uploading real-time monitoring data of the data recorder and canread back the whole data after the test finished, efficiently and fast to complete the entire test.Using a piece of AD chip to receive the data recorder working status signal, monitor the datarecorder’s working condition.In terms of software system, make the communication protocolbetween the ground test equipment and the PC and various modules use the same clock todrive at the same time, achieving the unity of the whole system timing.The ground test system through a lot of testing experiments, the results show that thisequipment is fully achieved the design request, completed the joint-test experiments, but alsohave good performance in stability and reliability, and the equipment has been successfully applied in the actual test.
