| With the development of the industrial automation and economic construction, people pay more and more attention to the power quality. Meanwhile higher quality power is required by almost all walks of life. Therefore, to keep the electric system running stably and safely, it is of great importance to monitor and analyse the electric power quality.Nowadays, as the embedded technology has became more mature, the performance of DSP and ARM get more powerful. But conditional monitoring devices using DSP and ARM still have some issues, such as defective function, limited storage capacity, difficulty in network and so on. In recent years, Linux has became a fully functional and stable embedded operating system. The open source system with rich resources can realize multi-task and match with various requirements of different embedded system. Moreover, virtual instrument technology is another advanced technology widely applied in developing measure and control systems. This new technology has been proved to be highly modular and intelligentized.To make up the shortages of the conditional devices, in this design,μcLinux operating system was transplanted to the ARM module of the monitoring devices. Using rich interfaces in ucLinux, emWin, a GUI library developed by SEGGER, sqlite3, a widely used embedded database, the user programs were designed to realize the TCP communication between ARM and PC, GUI and the data storage. Besides, to improve the storage capacity and the data management ability for the power quality data, a software based on Lab VIEW and Oracle was designed. It provides a friendly GUI which is match to windows standard. This software also realized the TCP communication, huge data storage and retrieval.Through testing,the whole system runs stably. It enhanced the function of the power quality monitoring devices.The whole system has big value both in the practice and the market. |
