Design Of Detecting The Number Of People In Lift Car Based On ARM9and Transplantation Of Linux System

With the continuous development of information technology, embedded technology has got broad space for development, embedded technology has a good application prospect in many fields. The overload alarm of elevator is an important content of the elevator maintenance. At present, the overload alarm of elevator device commonly is gravity sensor. However, due to the reasons such as the aging of equipment, gravity sensor may doesn’t work anymore. It also may cause the lift safety accidents because of the people in lift car more than ratings. Therefore, at the same time of strengthening the gravity sensor performance, method of people counting inside the elevator car is used to strengthen the elevator safety performance.According to the characteristics of the embedded technology and application requirements of people counting inside the elevator car, this paper designs and develops the embedded image acquisition and processing system based on TQ2440Development Board. First of all, set up the development environment of the embedded system, including the configuration of virtual machine, the super terminal, cross compiler and other development tools.Secondly, completes the construction of the embedded Linux operating system, including clip and transplanted a higher and stable performance of the system kernel which is Linux-2.6.30.4, design and transplanted the root file system, according to application requirements choose CMOS image acquisition equipment OV9650and the computer vision library OpenCV-2.1, transplanted the driver of OV9650and OpenCV-2.1library.Thirdly, to realize the design of the application of image acquisition and processing based on the embedded Linux system platform which has built. To realize the function of image acquisition system through the OV9650camera driver combined with transplanted computer vision library OpenCV-2.1and Adaboost face detection algorithm to realize the face detection function of image data which has collected well.Finally, test the face detection system of the elevator compartment which has designed completed. Though the analysis of test results, the system basically achieve functions of the face detection inside the elevator compartment and application requirements of the stability and real-time.
