With the development of electronic science and technology, more and morepower supply are in great demand. Analog circuit solutions are difficult to meet therequirements, so the digital power supply comes into being. Digital power supply is anew power supply technology which has some new functions like intelligent control,protection circuitry and communication interfaces. Digital signal processor (DSP)promotes the development of digital power supply. This article mainly introducesinformation that DSP used as the primary power supply control can regulate theoutput voltage accurately through controlling the switches.The system consists of the power factor correction circuit, the converter circuitand a control circuit section. Firstly boost topology was chosen on the basis of thepower factor correction circuit principle. It uses the average current control method tofinish calculating the elements parameters and selecting the components. Throughdesigning a mathematical model with voltage/current loop control and PI algorithm,the power factor correction function is achieved. Then according to the actual needsof the design, choose one of several classical topologies and improve it. So the DCconverter circuit is determined which have the double tube single end forwardstructure. It also has multi-channel outputs and synchronous rectifier structure. Withselecting the transformers, inductors and other magnetic components the control partsand driver circuit are designed. The DSP is selected as the core chip of the maincontrol part. Event management module and analog to digital conversion module inDSP are mainly used. Through programming, voltages and currents in the circuit aresampled. Then event management module generate PWM wave to control the switchesin order to get the purpose output voltage.Finally, the experimental circuit was built. The simulation and experiment resultsshow that the circuit has the power factor correction function. Each way of threeoutput voltages is16V and power is500W, which turns out to be that the design isfeasible.
