In the power electronic circuits, because of the non-linear of the electronic switch, the circuit's input current harmonic content is very high, which leads the power factor of power electronic devices is very low, and very serious impact on the grid. In order to limit the current distortion, the International Electrotechnical Commission put forward the corresponding harmonic limits, this standard in 1994 and fully implemented in the EU, also pushed the network side of the PFC development. In the switching power supply circuit, PFC technology is a very important research, researched by the majority of scholars and engineers, the traditional analog technology with the corresponding control IC chip development has become a more mature technology.In recent years, digital signal processing technology with the rapid development of digital signal processing chip, more digital signal IC has been used in the switching power supply.,the advantages of digital control making the digital control PFC became a hotspot research. However, comparing with the analog control technology, the digital control technology still has many problems. This article is based on this starting point, research the digital control PFC of the switching power supply used in the high-pressure gas discharge lamp circuit. In-depth study of the analog control and digital control PFC relevance and diversity, while digital control PFC circuit are given a system improvement, the results is better.In this paper, the works are as follows:(1) The loop of power factor correction circuit design method is discussed, the summary of the voltage loopand current loop design standards are gived.(2) The power factor correction circuit design method of PI compensator is discussed, the PI compensator design problems and solutions is gived. the influenceof voltage loop bandwidth for system performance is discussed.(3) The power factor correction circuit design method of digital compensator is analysised, and the two different methods are compared. the digital compensator in the process of discreting is analysised.(4) Two ways to improve the performance of digital control PFC circuit method has been gived, the ideal experiment experimental results to verify the accuracy of the given method.(5) The digital control PFC system exists in digital signal processing error is analysised,the control loop of PI, PID controller is equivalented to the IIR digital filter and the error through the control loop is calculated,the noise error propagation model in the system for digital control PFC system is discussed.
