With the rapid development of China’s construction in recent years,problems about buildings cracks become more and more prominent,especially that caused by foundation uneven settlement.Building cracks can not only effect on the building overall impressions, even worse can influence the using function and safety. Therefore, we should take certain measures or methods to minimize or avoid building deformation cracks.Taking an actually building which occurred deformation cracks as the research object and monitoring the building deformation.Comprehensive analysis the building deformation reasons through the settlement observation data and combined with ABAQUS3D finite element simulation, put forward the corresponding reinforcement measures.The main research and conclusions in this paper are as follows:(1)Analyzed the causes and damages of building cracks,and summarized the treatment methods appear in practical engineering.(2)Based on summarizing the experience and lessons of previous research results and engineering accident examples of geological conditions, analysis a project having foundation uneven settlement problem in Haikou city by engineering settlement observation data.(3)Getting the stress nephogram and settlement nephogram by the building ABAQUS3D finite element simulation analysis.Compared the settlement results with the actuals, verified the cause of building deformation is the foundation uneven settlement.(4) Summarized treatment countermeasures of building foundation uneven settlement based on the basic research and test of domestic and foreign experts,putting forward two corresponding reinforcement measures combined with the3D simulation results、 economic、treatment effect project actual conditions.
