The anchorage zone of pylon is an important structure of cable-stayed bridge and a key part for engineering design.Based on the Cao’e River Bridge in Shaoxing Binhai New Area, whose tower shape is like two diamonds conjoined together, this thesis studied the mechanical behavior of the anchorage zone of circumferential pre-stressed calbe-stayed bridge tower. The work was carried out with the method of document summarizing, finite element analysis and full-scale model test. The main work in this thesis is as following:1. Based on the methods of literatures,learned about the structural form, applications and development of the anchorage zone of pylon, mainly mastered the the characteristics and research status of the anchorage zone of circumferential pre-stressed calbe-stayed bridge tower.2. The anchorage zone of pylon has been designed based on the Saint-Venant’s Principle and the related theories of finite element, modeling analysis of the anchorage zone of pylon with the help of ANSYS, and mastered the mechanical characteristics and stress distribution law of the zone.3. The main influencing factor of friction loss has been analysed by testing the friction loss of the circumferential pre-stressed tendon,which provides a reference for optimizing the adjustment of engineering design and the construction technology control of prestress design.This thesis gives a formula which suitable for calculating the elongation of the circumferential pre-stressed tendon.4. Compared the theoretical value of spatial finite element analysis with the actual test results of the full-scale model test,and evaluated the working performance and the rationality of the anchorage zone of pylon under the designed loading condition and overloading condition.
