Maglev transportation, with its advantages of environmental protection, energy saving, and high efficiency, has become one of the most competitive green ground transportation systems in the21st century. Because of the excellent technical and economic quality, low and medium speed maglev train is ideal for rapid extension line of cities with medium-sized passengers, especially used as the special fast line connecting downtown with the airports, suburbs, industrial areas, and tourist attractions. Also it is appropriate for traffic lines of large and medium-sized cities with complex topography and crowed buildings.In recent years, China’s independently self-developed maglev technology has started being put into engineering use. Maglev lines generally adopt enclosed elevated bridges, but there is still no code on low and medium speed maglev transportation in our country, so it is necessary and significant to do research on the key technology of low and medium speed maglev guideway girder. Based on the method of experimental research and analyzing calculation, the thesis takes Zhuzhou low and medium speed maglev guideway girder as an example, and conducts the following studies.-1、Relevant information about the current situation at home and abroad as well as the history and development of maglev guideway girder has been collected extensively.2、Intensive comparisons and analysis about guideway girder stiffness limits of different codes have been carried, tests of low and medium speed maglev guideway girder stiffness have been conducted under six kinds of conditions, and researches of guideway girder frequency and vibration in pulse incentive mode have been taken to test the rationality of low and medium speed maglev guideway girder stiffness.3、Driving dynamic responses have been tested based on low and medium speed maglev guideway girder. According to the test and calculation results of numerical analysis, the rationality of low and medium speed maglev guideway girder’s dynamic coefficient has been verified.4、Based on the current typical maglev guideway girder sections, maglev guideway girders with different sections and different spans are built by finite element program. Then their stiffness and dynamic characteristics are compared and analyzed. According to results, the relationship between the low and medium speed maglev guideway girder dynamic coefficient and the fundamental frequency ratio has been proposed.
