The current lack of infrastructure in the urban fringe green building research makes many problems in the urban fringe green infrastructure, leading to urban construction land eroding land, resulting in the loss of function of marginal zone suburbs.Emphasizeing basic service functions with green infrastructure is today’s urban systematic way to solve the environmental problems of, the city.It can play the role of natural life supporting systems. In this paper is based on the concept of green infrastructure with domestic and international theory and practice related to the evolution of history, as well as network-centric, connecting corridor-based elements in the urban fringe of this special environment.And it expounds green infrastructure system construction approach in aspects of constructing principle, building procedures, implementation approach and management mechanisms,and emphasizes the great significance of green infrastructure system builting on the urban fringe development.Chengdu city fringe area has been initially formed in the course of nearly three decades of expansion of urban space.and its green infrastructure is also facing many problems.
