Research Of Express-Local Train Operation Orgnization In Urban Rail Transit

With the expansing of the urban-rail-transit network, the increasing of the passenger flow and the sustainable development of surounding city groups, the designing and construction of some new urban-rail-transit has gone into urgent agenda. The above new rail-transit lines, featured with longer average traveling distance and unbalanced passenger flow, has challenged the traditional transportation organization mode. This paper studied a new trasnportaion orgnization mode called "the express-local train" and contents following main points.(1) Several express-local train system was examined and the necessity and feasibility of the express-local train system was analysied.(2) The marshalling plan, the routing mode and the stop schedule of the express-local train system was studied respectively. A mixed0-1planing model was established to maximize the comprehensive benefits and minimize the travelling time of the express-local train system.(3) The overtaking strategies of the express and local train was studied in the train diagrams. The overtaking organization was double constrained by the capacity and the efficiency. Meanwhile, an intermidiate principle was proposed to determine the optimal overtaking scheme.(4) Through case analysis of Chongqing line5, a optimized stop plan was obtained by the stop schedule model. The train diagram has been drawn accordingly with the stop plan. Through statistical analysis, train diagram index was calculated and the fesibility and reliability of the stop scheme thesis and the over-taking strategies was fully verified.
