Study On Key Problems And Relative Strategies Of Railway Construction Project Management

China has a large population and a broad area of district. The transporting ability of the railway transportation is large, the price is relatively low and it’s more energy saving. According to the above reasons, railway has become a major transportation for both passengers and cargo. As an significant national foundation facility, railway has become the artery of our national economy. After entering the21th century, the growing speed of our economy is keeping in a high level, the transporting ability of our railway could not fulfill the developing needs. In order to completely solve the contradiction effectively, more and more railway projects are required.The present period of our railway construction is in the level of pushing the deeper constructing of harmony railway. However, low efficiency in railway construction management strategy contradicts to the fast growing pace of railway construction. The problems focuses on investing system, low rate of return, low efficiency of management model, ineffective monitoring and lack of standardization. Only if we investigate and analyze the problems, systematically recognize them and then solve these problems, we can take the system revolution into next level, complete the railway construction management and enhance the management level. The meaning of it is significant to build the railway both fast and well, it also has the reference meaning to the construction company to booth their production effectiveness.The paper is based on the study of conditions and key problems of our project management, and it studies the key problems in the management of railway construction projects. Broad information selecting and investigating are developed in order to know the most important problems that need to be solved. And the key problems are found and the ways to solve them are also brought out by discussing with the relative department of railway bureau, railway consulting and constructing company. The paper is based on field investigation and conclusion of present problems in railway construction management, and by adopting management theory of railway construction a series of problems such as construction management problem and cost management problem are discussed. Effective strategy is given such as a complete management system, cost control method and systematic management system so that it could be an effective strategy system.
