Stirling engine is an external combustion (heating) closed piston engine, has the advantages of wide fuel application, high efficiency, low pollution, low noise and easy maintenance, etc, applied in many fields as a clean and efficient power device, meanwhile, has important significance for energy conservation and emissions reduction and environmental protection. In order to ensure stirling engine stable operation for a long time, the research of this subject adopts the gas heating equipment to achieve uniform heating of the Stirling engine thermal chamber port.Gas burner is a device used to provide heat source, is the key component of gas furnace, its performance directly affects the yield, quality, energy consumption, environmental protection and other economical and technical index of the gas furnace. In recent years, domestic and foreign scholars applied two methods of experiment and computer numerical simulation for the research of gas burners, achieved good control of the flame by changing the operating conditions, structure parameters, etc.In this paper, according to the shape features and heating temperature requirements of the hot chamber port, design a blast swirling gas burner, with setting swirling curved blades in the air duct, the gas divided into multiple shares trickle through the shunt sprays into the air swirl, and cooperate with the trumpet flue and the reasonable furnace structure. To test and verify the heating effect of the burner, apply the theories and methods of computational fluid dynamics and advanced combustion to simulate the combustion conditions of the burner in the hearth. Based on the reasonable construction of physical model and mathematical model, under the condition of the thermal load up to100KW, simulate temperature distribution, velocity distribution and pollutant distribution characteristics in the hearth in software ANSYS FLUENT, by changing the parameters of the hearth structure, compare with various simulation results, analyze and optimize the hearth structure in depth, eventually determine a more rational hearth structure and operating parameters, satisfy the heating requirements of Stirling engine heat chamber port.
