Being as a very important source of energy,petroleum plays a very important role in the national economy.A stable petroleum supply is closely related with the country’s political,economic and people’s daily lives.But at present,a large part of China’s crude oil needs to be imported from abroad,and more than90%of it need to be transported by the international tankers.Due to the high viscosity and high pour point of the cargo oil,needs to be heated in the process of transport and transfer.The current researches are mainly concentrated in the traditional way of heating,such as steam heating and electric heating.The steam heating system which is used in the mostly tankers,has the long steam pipes and low energy efficiency boiler.Because of the many advantages,such as easy to control,uniformity,clean,selective heating,fast,etc,the paper put interest on the application of microwave heating system in the transportation of the cargo oil. So this project has high research value and broad application prospects in cargo oil heating area.In this paper,experiments and theoretic calculation are conducted to analyzes the microwave heating regularity,heating efficiency, regularity of microwave leakage and shielding effectiveness of brass nets. There are two main parts of the experiment.The first part of microwave heating experiment is related to the heating different medium(water and lube oil)with different microwave power.The influence regularity of medium volume and efficiency of the microwave power are obtained. The second part is associated with the microwave leakage and protection experiments,The microwave leakage regularity linked the microwave power and distance is revealed, and the accurate regression formula through the experimental data is gotten, which can be used to accurately estimate the microwave leakage quantity for engineering application. The brass nets shielding effectiveness in the experiments are analyzed also, the results show that the brass nets of100meshes has the best shielding effectiveness, and the double-layer of brass nets is better than the single-layer. This provides a reliable theory for the engineering application of microwave heating hereafter.
