In the process of construction and operation, ships need a variety of inspection and testing to ensure that the technical condition of the ship can meet the relevant regulations and ensure the safety of navigation, prevention of environmental pollution, which is particularly important for ship power system supply capacity test.Load capacity is the key quota in the test of power station. The currently used simulation electronic load often uses an impedance simulation,which consumpts energy through power resistance or power transistor.The electric power is completely consumed in the test procession, which increases economic costs and causes air pollution by wasting energy.According to the energy-saving policy in current ship industry, the RLC load which consumes high energy needs to be replaced by energy-reclaiming electronic load which consumes less energy. So the research on it has very important practical significance.Energy-reclaiming electronic load simulates different load feature to finish power tests by using electric transferring technology, and brings the output power of the testing power supply back to the system for recycling, which saves energy and reduces costs greatly. The paper designs a new-type electronic load in a ship power station which realizes the energy-reclaiming function, and makes simulation experiments on the working principles.The following research work has been done in the paper. The technology specification of power test for the marine electric power station is proposed based on the summary and analysis of the working principle of electronic load product at home and abroad. The structure of the new type energy-reclaiming electronic load with alternating-direct-alternating current is designed used the PWM alternating technology. The electric circuit including load simulating and Electrical energy feedback, and the control system are designed. The function simulating test is accomplished via SIMULINK, thus rationality of the design is verified.
