In recent years, as energy and environmental issues have become increasingly prominent in China, more and more attention are paid to development and utilization of new energy sources, among which wind and solar power are two major research topics as clean, safe and sustainable energy source. This paper is dedicated to design a small wind-solar power inverter system, which is used to fetch water by power for pastoral farmers and herdsmen in Inner Mongolia. This inverter designed has features such as stability, high efficiency and easy operation.Firstly, the mechanism of frequency control of three-phase asynchronous motors and space vector pulse width modulation are explained. After learning and researching the principles, space vector pulse width modulation is simulated in Simulink environment, on the basis of it frequency control of three-phase asynchronous motors is simulated. The design is divied into two parts-hardware design and software design. In the hardware design, DSPIC MCU is used as the core control chip, a isolation circuit which is built by special driver chip IR2130can convert the space vector pulse generated by control chip into three-phase full control bridge inverter circuit controlled by drive voltage, to generate a frequency-adjustable three-phase sinusoidal voltage. In the software design, firstly, introduce the DSPIC MCU modules design-related and elabrate configuration of related modules register. Through a series of calculation on the seted three-phase sinusoidal voltage values based on the principle of space vector pulse width modulation, then translate the results into special values and sent the values into duty cycle register control the I/O ports to produce a variable duty cycle waveform, the generation of space vector pulse is achieved.Finally, the feasibility of system is verified through experiments.
