The automotive impact safety is one of the hot topics of global concern and research.Car bumper is one of the key factors affecting the crash safety of its research in recent yearshas become increasingly valued. In this paper, based on China Automotive Technology andResearch Center (Tianjin) bumper crashworthiness test items for the role played by thevehicle bumper, structure and design methods are analyzed and summarized, the countries ofthe test methods were studied, and the test the results were specific analysis. In this paper,automobile bumpers around this system carried out the following research areas:1. Structural and design features of the bumper system is analyzed.
