Energy shortage and environmental pollution have become the focus all over theworld. Developing low-carbon economy marked by low energy consumption and lowemissions is the common choice for every country, especially in our country. TheCargo Transportation is the basic industry of national economy, and the HighwayTransportation is the most important mode. So it has important significance forimproving energy shortage and environmental pollution to slove the environmentalproblem of transport vehicles in our country.Taking a transport vehicle as example, taking improving economy as purpose,according to the series hydraulic hybrid technology of transport vehicles, this paperhas finished the following work:(1) Introduce the structure and working principles of every hydraulic hybridsystem configuration, establish a new hydraulic hybrid structure, analyse its workingprinciples and modes, and present parameters matching principle of the new hydraulichybrid structure’s main components.(2) Aimming at engine, pump/motor, accumulator, brake, gearbox, drive axle andso on in the new series hydraulic hybrid vehicle, according to their workingconditions, set up their mathematical models and simulation models inMATLAB/Simulink. On this basis,set up vehicle dynamics mathematical model andsimulation model in MATLAB/Simulink.(3) Introduce power management strategy’s classification of the new serieshydraulic hybrid vehicle. Put forward the power management strategies based on rulesand fuzzy logic. Design controllers and set up the simulation models.(4) According to the controllers based on rules and fuzzy logic inMATLAB/Simulink, research the simulation model of the new series hydraulic hybridvehicle and compare the simulation results. As the results show, compared withtraditional transport vehicles, it has achieved the purposes of optimizing engineworking points and improving fuel economy. It’s12.2%for vehicles’ powermanagement strategy based on rules and13.8%based on fuzzy logic. In addition,compared with power management strategy based on rules, using fuzzy logic as thevehicle’s power management strategy can control engine and accumulator’s outputmore reasonably, recover and reuse braking energy more sufficiently. It can also improve economy and dynami c obviously.
