In order to carry out wind turbine research in the laboratory,realize in-depth analysisof the unit, this thesis developed a10kW double-fed wind turbine simulation platform.Wind power unit model includes mechanical structure part and electrical control part. Thisthesis focused on the analysis of electrical part.The wind power model unit studied in this paper mainly includes wind turbine analogsystem, variable pitch system and generator system. The laboratory does not have windresources of wind farms. Therefore, wind power was imitated by wind turbine analogsystem of model unit. A mathematical model of wind turbine analog system wasestablished in the paper. Its control algorithm was researched. Thus the power drive ofmodel unit was achieved by designing its hardware agencies. In the electric pitch system,the blade model of unit was deeply analyzed and its controller was designed. Pitch angle ofunit was controlled completely by servo drive system. This paper focused on generatorsystem. The mathematical models of converter including machine-side and net-side wereestablished, and control strategies were researched. Torque controller of double-fedgenerator is designed. Through the process of research, debugging and tests on thegenerator converter, rotor excitation and grid-connected were realized. The main controlsystem of model unit coordinated over subsystems to achieve stable operation. In addition,wind power unit model consisted of active yaw system, remote monitoring and alarmsystem. In the course of research and development, the research, design and debugging ofeach system making unit has the basic functions of the megawatt wind turbine unit.Finally, the start, connecting to the grid, generation and shut down process of windpower unit model were completed by simulating torque characteristics of the wind turbine.The thesis analyzed the static and dynamic characteristics of unit operation. The reliabilityof unit is verified by experiment. Development of the platform has been successfullyapplied and was well reviewed.
