People widely pay attention to wind energy because it is a regenerated energy. The variant-speed const-frequency (VSCF) wind generation is very important in modern wind power system. It very fits for wind generation with VSCF because it can capture as much energy as possible.The thesis mostly studies the way of control and analysis the character of VSCF double-fed wind power system. Firstly, it presents the principle of VSCF wind power, and compares the const-speed const-frequency (CSCF) and VSCF. Also it builds the mathematic model of all section of VSCF double-fed wind power generation system on two-phase synchronous rotation coordinate. Secondly, the thesis gives the characteristic of torque and the steady-state analysis of VSCF double-fed generator. It proves that the capability of wind generator is determined to slip, rotor voltage and angle between rotor voltage and stator voltage, and investigates the control model based on the stator field-oriented vector control. The dynamic performance of VSCF double-fed wind power system is discussed. It is shown that VSCF double-fed wind power system with stator field-oriented vector control has good performance.
