| The development of renewable energy is getting more and more attention of the countries all over the world with the energy crisis and environmental degradation. As one of the fastest growing new energy, wind energy has been an important part of the world’s energy because of its lots of advantages such as large reserves, renewable, no pollution, wide distribution etc. The number of wind farms and the installed capacity of wind power in our country are increasing have got great growth for the past few years. With the development of wind power, The detrimental effects due to large-scale wind power integration can’t be ignored more and more.In this paper, the research of wind power integration is mainly divided into two aspects. First, this paper makes the static voltage stability analysis of wind power integrated system in order to study the impact brought by wind power integration to static voltage stability of power system. And second, a new method to calculate the wind power capacity is presented. The method has been used to calculate the wind power capacity of IEEE-39system in this paper.In static voltage stability analysis, the critical point of static voltage stability can provide much important information such as voltage stability margin, sensitivity and so on. The calculation of voltage stability margin has important significance for static voltage stability analysis. An improved method of continuation power flow calculation which combines traditional continuation power flow and least square method is presented by this paper. The paper also proves the validity of the improved method by simulating a simple power system by using the scientific software. This paper analyzes the impact brought by wind power integration to static voltage stability of power system through static voltage stability margin and sensitivity calculated by the improved method of continuation power flow. Meanwhile, some of the factor which affects the static voltage stability of the grid like the selection of the grid connection point of wind farm and the parameter of Transmission Lines is analyzed.Node voltage limit and static voltage stability are taken to be constraint condition in the calculation method of wind power capacity. The method of continuation power flow is also used in this wind power capacity calculation. The wind power capacity changes with the capacity of reactive compensation. When the capacity of reactive compensation reaches a fixed value, voltage instability may occur even the voltage is kept in an allowable range. The calculation method proposed in this paper combines with Continuation power flow. So it can get an accurate estimate of the wind power capacity in this situation. This paper calculates wind power capacity of IEEE-39system in three different grid connection point, and then plots a relationship between the capacity of wind power and reactive compensation. |
