Permanent magnetic strontium ferrite is essential material for modern products, it is normally used in magnetic separation equipment,permanent magnet motor, electronic devices, magnetic lining plate, etc. It is widely applied for its raw materials efficiency, low price and high stability.China ranks first in the output of strontium ferrite materials at present, Some domestic enterprises are given priority to produce strontium ferrite with low properties, and a few enterprises can produce large quantities of high performance products. With the rapid development of science and technology, the magnetic material with low properties is difficult to meet the demand of the market. The core technology of producing high properties materials is controlled in the hands of Japan and the United States. In China, however, did not give up on the research of high performance permanent magnet materials. Many researchers of China has already developed a small amount of strontium ferrite with high properties in the lab, but it is not fully put into industrial production.This article adopts porcelain for preparation of strontium ferrite, several good raw materials (SrM) is chosen to test the performance, and the best magnetic material is selected. Add micron grade additive and nanoscale additive respectively on this basic. Rely on the production equipment of the enterprise, through the process of ball mill, drying, magnetic field forming and sintering, to produce permanent magnetic strontium ferrite. The properties of the samples were detected and phase analysed by SEM, Magnetic measuring devices, Vivtorinox, X ray diffraction etc. the magnetic property of the strontium ferrite was affected by the type of the chemical additive, the dose and the partial size, improve the magnetic phase degree of orientatim, improve the comprehensive magnetic performance and the mechanical properties of the magnet. The following conclusion are reached after the above experiment:1) In SrM. The results show that the magnetic property of the strontium ferrite is relatively good with Br=406.7mT,Hcj=336.7kA/m3,(BH)max=35.58kJ/m3, Be combined to add nanoscale calcium gluconate (0.3wt%), CaCO3(0.5wt%), Al2O3(0.5wt%), SiO2(0.3wt%). It has reached the level of the products of FB6B in Japan.2) The type and the content of additives are the same, comparing to the conclusion between the micro and nano additives, the Br, HCj,(BH)max and hardness of the strontium ferrite samples with adding the nano additives were respectively increased by1.1%,14.3%,3.9%and2.6%.3) The hardness increase with temperature, at1240℃, the highest is683.54HV.4) Adding La3+、Co3+, the best magnetic performance:Br=394mT,Hcj=245.6kJ/m,(Bh)max=30.95kJ/m3.
