Analysis On Landform And Space Construction In Chengde Mountain Resort

In the continuously developing process of Chinese classical landscape architecture, landform always has an effect on space construction. Chengde Mountain Resort has both the fascinating natural landform and the landscape architecture art from south and north China. It is the best example of shaping space construction by natural landform in Chinese classical landscape architecture, with its beautiful landform and rustic charm.The main purpose of this paper is to analysis the effect which landform made on space construction in Chengde Mountain Resort. It studied the landform of Chinese classical landscape architecture, the natural landform characteristics of Chengde Mountain Resort and analysed the relationships between landform and spot spaces, line spaces and the whole space construction in Chengde Mountain Resort with scientific methods including information review, hypothesis verification, digital assistance, etc. At last, it summarized structural pattern of the whole space construction in Chengde Mountain Resort and the impact on different levels of space which is made by landform. Eventually hope to be able to promote theoretical study process on academic research about landform and space construction and to make positive effect on both the protection and rebuilding of Chengde Mountain Resort and the inheritance and development of design art in Chinese classical landscape architecture.
