Single-layer spherical reticulated shell,which is a kind of economical spatialstructure form with good performance,has been widely applied in the structure of largespan. As human’s increasingly understanding of earthquake, the design of theanti-seismic has become a key problem in structure design. In this paper, the Kiewittlatticed shell is established with the finite element software ANSYS and thecharacteristics of the shell under earthquake is discussed.First, the Kiewitt latticed shell is established by parametric modeling and themodal characteristics of the structure, which is of crucial importance as the basis instudying the structural dynamic characteristics, is discussed. And then the significantfactors on the structure mode including span, rise-span ratio, the number of points andload are considered.Secondly, the random vibration of reticulated shell is analyzed with reasonableselection of seismic wave. The performance of the structure response underuni-dimensional and muti-dimensional seismic wave is studied, then the main factorsaffecting the structural seismic response are discussed in this paper.Finally, the dynamic performance of Kiewitt latticed shell with randomparameters is analyzed. The cumulative probability distribution function of the naturalfrequency and the maximum axial stress in structure is obtained. Futher, the structuralrandom parameters which would affect the dynamical characteristics of structure arediscussed in probability sensitivity, providing a reference for practical engineering instructure anti-seismic design.
