Earth pressure balance shield machine (EPBS) cut soil by rotated cutting-plate andthey were deposited in the sealed cabin. There is a screw conveyor at the bottom, whicheliminated soil from screw conveyer and control emission. EPBS can balance the pressureof sealing and excavation, and suitable for the geological conditions such as clay, sand andgravel tunneling construction. It has wide applicability, less soil disturbance, highconstruction efficiency and reliability, etc.Macro shield machine is suitable for the construction of underground pipeline lines. Ithas a smaller diameter section and work underground30-50m. The pipeline not affected bythe underground subway lines. The screw conveyor is one of critical systems in earthpressure balance shield machine. It plays a key role in maintaining the pressure balance.Macro shield machine has small body and cramped interior space. According ordinarydischarge system to decreased dimension is not suitable for macro shield machine. Itshould be based on the actual situation. Designed and modified screw conveyer. Makinggreat efforts to simplify screw conveyer and guarantee to complete the task.Therefore, it has a high demand for control quantity of discharge earth. Moreover, ithas to avoid spewing, and to ensure it works safety. We should improved shield machineworking reliability. For a specific soil design specialized screw conveyor, and optimizedthe structure of screw conveyor. Based on the CFD software of fluid-solid couplingsimulation analysis was carried out on the screw conveyor, An analysis of the soil flowfield pressure in screw conveyor screw conveyor and deformation analysis of screwconveyor. Flow field streamline and velocity in different rotating speed are compared, andthe modal analysis of the screw conveyor. It makes the design of screw conveyer meet itsusing performance.We should design screw conveyor for the soil. The soil is different, The dimensionand collocation is different. So, designing, modeling and Simulation is processed in a specific condition in this paper.
