Forest as an important part of our natural resources plays an important role for our environment. When forest fire occur, the forest fire fighting truck not only can transport the firefighters and fire equipment to the scene of the fire quickly, but also can use its own tools which are carried by itself to control and extinguish the fire.Taking a forest fire fighting struck as a model for this study. The main research is about its frame finite element analysis and fatigue reliability analysis. As the following aspects:1、Built ing the finit element model based on real vehicle chassis frame model by the software Catia; importing the finite element model into Hypermesh software to process and simplity the frame, select the appropriate unit, divid high-quality meshes; determine the load that the vehicle is exposed and its distribution form; do constrain handling of the frame.2、Testing the reliability of the frame by modal test, whose the highest resulting experimental data and simulation data errors was only4.31%, indicating that the model is reliable; analyze the characteristics of the different conditions of the frame by MSC.Patran and Nastran software. The results can show the maximum deformation of the frame is8.78mm and the maximum stress is318MPa, which shows that the strength and stiffness of the frame meet the needs.3、Collecting the load spectra when the vehicle traveling in the forest by B&K test system and the acceleration sensors to do signal acquisition. And then do data analysis and process by Matlab software. It obtains signal de-nosing and filtered signals. Do analyze on the part of effectiveness、amplitude、 frequency、standard deviation of the signals. At the same time do a simple rain flow counting analysis of the signals.4、It had got the fatigue life and damage cloud by the fatigue analysis software MSC.Fatigue, combined with the stress distribution of the frame、the actual road load spectrum and the fatigue attributes (S-N curve). It got fatigue life of the frame is490million meters.This paper analyzes the fatigue life of the frame based on the actual road, whose result is closer to the truth and provides an important reference of the latter optimize design of the frame.
