With the increasing of China’s building energy consumption, energy-saving hasbecome one of the key energy works. As a new energy-saving technology, phase changeenergy storage is paid more and more attention. The phase change energy storage wallcombined phase change material with the construction wall can increase the thermal inertia,reducing room wall temperature and heat flow volatility, reducing indoor heat gain insummer and heat loss in winter, saving energy and reducing energy consumption, to achievethe purpose of building energy efficiency.The paper established the phase change room and ordinary room model, andmaintaining the room temperature with26oC in summer and18oC in winter, the papersimulated the heat transfer process of the two model rooms in the fluctuation outdoorweather conditions with the ANSYS software, and obtaining the results of the model roomwall temperature and heat flux changes with time. According to the simulation results, thepaper analyzed the energy efficiency, energy-saving and economy of the phase change room.The results showed that, with phase change materials in the wall, the inner temperatureand heat flux were less volatile, the energy consumption of the air conditioning beingreduced, saving electricity and running costs, and it could also bring certain economicbenefits. The results provided a reference to the practical application of the phase changematerial in the room.The paper selected three common porous building materials and three phase changematerials which are suitable for the use in the wall and then measured the phase changematerial content by the direct immersion method with making different experiments in threedifferent immersion temperatures of50oC,60oC and70oC and different immersion time of10min,30min,1h,2h,3h and4h. The results showed that, the appropriate conditions ofthe porous materials immersed in the phase change materials were soaking one hour in the50oC soaking temperature. The experiment provided a reference to preparing phase changebuilding materials by direct immersion.The paper combined the phase change energy building materials prepared by the directimmersion method with the wall samples to prepare phase change, and carries on the heatflux tests which applying heat flux of350W to one side of the wall with heating for8h andstopping heating for8h, the comparative tests of the ordinary wall also being carried out.The experimental results showed that, the phase change material could delay the increasingand decreasing of the gypsum board surface temperature and heat flux, and it had a certain effect of saving energy.
