Effection And Efficiency Of Chicken Coccidiosis Vaccine

Coccidiosis is a worldwide distributed serious disease threat to chicken production. It attacks chicken throughout the year. The infected chicken is difficult to recover, with a significant impact on growth. The prevention and treatment of this disease has been depended on drugs for a long time. The frequent occurrence of coccidiosis and the need for additional treatment dosage, increase the costs and the risk of drug residues in chicken.This research was taken to study the application of vaccine in prevention and control of coccidiosis. Drug application in the diet was arranged as a positive control. The result showed that:1) The body weight gain did not show significant difference, indicating that the vaccine does not affect the growth of the chicken. Toxic effects of coccidiosis was taken to check the immune effect. The result showed that the immune group showed a high drug protection rate,100%and97.9%, significantly higher than84%and58.3%of unvaccinated group. The score of intestinal lesions was significantly higher in unvaccinated control group than that in the immune group, indicating that the vaccine having an ideal immune protection effect on Yellow Chicken ball echinococcosis.2) No significanly difference was found between anticoccidial drugs group and anticoccidial vaccine trial group in the growth performance items (survival rate, Last average weight, Wight gain during, Feed). Coccidiosis did not occur in both of the experimental group and the positive group, while it occurred in the control group, where the survival rate was low and drugs cost was high. It can be concluded that the application of coccidiosis vaccine can effectively prevent and control coccidiosis occurs.
