Methyl bromide fumigation is an effective way to eliminate the insect pests in the wood when it comes to international trade. But methyl bromide is harmful both to the operation staff and the environment. For the safety of operation staff and environment, it is necessary to analyze the facility used in methyl bromide fumigation.In this paper, we analyzed an atmospheric circulatory methyl bromide fumigation experimental facility. Both the geometric and FEM model of the fumigation facility is built in this paper. Through the study we got some results:without taking any measures, methyl bromide will leak out of the fumigation facility, the range of influence is about2-3meters under wind around the facility; the numerical simulation shows that under unloaded condition, the air curtain’s blocking efficiency to methyl bromide is higher than the one without air curtain; the critical suction pressure of the suction section is about2000Pa, draught fan used in the suction section must produce more suction pressure than this value.
