We tested the soil fertility in Danyang city and carried out the field experiments with fertilizing to get the fertilizer parameters for the chief crops, including the yield under basic soil fertility, nutrients uptake by100kg-seeds, seasonal fertilizer utility, critical phosphate and potassium values. Our results provided scientific guideline and classification standards for the fertilization systems based on the different soil types and production levels. The detailed results are follows:1.The output under soil basic fertility is derived from the3414field experiments and listed as follows:N, P2O5, K2O are81,62.1,244.8kg/hm2, respectively. The optimal yield of rice is8941.5kg/hm2, optimal input of N, P2O5, K2O are232.5,72,96kg/hm2with the ratio of1:0.31:0.41(in sand soil the input of N, P2O5, K2O are234,75,112.5kg/hm2with the ratio of1:0.32:0.45, in yellow soil the input are229.5,70.5,81kg/hm2with the ratio of1:0.31:0.35).2.The rice yield depending on the input of N fertilizer was derived from field experiments of accurate fertilization:the average yield is6478.5kg/hm2(in sand soil6724.5kg/hm2, and in yellow soil5926.5kg/hm2). The average available N without fertilization is108kg/hm2(109.5kg/hm2in yellow soil and105kg/hm2in sand soil). The average yield is8254.5kg/hm2without P fertilization and8353.5kg/hm2without K fertilization. The average uptake of N by rice is108kg/hm2without N fertilization and183kg/hm2with N fertilization. The uptake of N by rice plants increased with the yield, but the uptake of N by rice seeds decreased with the yield.Through this research project, the city guide surface for the production of fertilizers and reasonable logistics to achieve sustainable rice production and development of the foundation.
