Peach (Prunus persica L.) is one of the most important and common fruit trees in China, but has serious gummosis diseases. Gummosis divided into infection and non infection. It is difficult to control, for the lack of epidemiological studies, effective fungicides and the ways of pesticide.In this study, According to the basic situation of peach production areas in southern China conducted a comprehensive investigation and analysis the characteristic of peach gummosis and simulating the effect of humidity to gummosis. The JMB-122(Botryosphaeria rhodina), which was isolated from regions in Hubei Province, was evaluated by twigs on3years of potted seedling, the varieties is Prunus persica cv.’Spring Snow’. At the same time, conduct a study of fungicide screening and improve the ways of pesticide.The major results were as follows:1、Analyzed the results of peach gummosis occurrence survey on the south of China. We can see that the temperature, the permeability of the soil and rain water are important environmental factors. Temperature is the main climate factor. Using the ridging cultivated and thin planting, weeding, thinning, avoid high temperature and drought, strengthen the borer pest control, is an effective measures to control of gummosis.2、Analyzed the impact of humidity of the air to gummosis. After inoculated in air-conditioned cold store with different humidity, from the disease spot length, gummosis amount and gummosis rate, were showed a trend that with the increase of humidity, gummosis is more serious.3、Evaluated the virulence to JMB-122, from8commonly used fungicides. Reference to pesticide bioassay test criteria:inhibition of pathogenic fungal hyphae growth test, the bacteriostatic ability strongest is propiconazole.4、Prevent disease by chemical control. The detached twigs acupuncture and each point needle punctures four times, inoculated with the pathogenic fungal mycelial disc. Then incubated at light incubator,28℃,2500lux and collected and analysed lesion diameters. Found that propiconazole15000times diluent processing branch incidence degree is the lightest.
